Swashbuckling Forte: Master [+6] Sky Pirate Captain (Location: On the Century Eagle, Opponent: Officers of the Law, Idiom: Flashy)

Street Rat refers to Arturo's past as an orphaned youth on Ilwuz before stowing away as a cabin boy on a pirate ship and beginning his climb up to captaincy and (hopefully) fame. It covers urban scrounging, sneaking, noticing things, and any other talent that might be useful to a kid trying to survive on the streets.

Nero Timofeison, aka Nero Jacobson, aka Flapjack, Ship's Wizard

As Played By: Justin Long

Foible: Stubborn

Motivation: Good [+2] Avenge His Parents' Murder

Nationality: Good [+2] Colronan Royalist

Past: Good [+2] Scholar

Swashbuckling Forte: Master [+6] Koldun (Gifts: Dragon, Thunderbird, Qilin, Griffin, Merhorse, Chimera, Pegasus)

Other Fortes: Good [+2] Fencing, Good [+2] Ornate Sword

Nero appears to be the son of Jacob Estherson, an individual of mysterious whereabouts and origin. When Nero was a very young child, both his parents were apparently murdered, and he was raised on a Colronan farm by a man named Timofei, whose name he adopted as a surname.

Scholar refers to Nero's bafflingly complete home-schooling, something he took to far more readily than farmwork, perhaps to Timofei's chagrin. While he is young and inexperienced, he does have book knowledge of many of the major cultures and features of the Seven Skies.

Ornate Sword is a Colronan rapier of excellent make, originally purchased for singular use and fashionable appearance in a duel, but later adopted by Nero as a personal signature of sorts.

Artemis Rex, aka Padre, Ship's Deckhand

As Played By: Sam Neill

Foible: Honorable to a Fault

Swashbuckling Forte: Expert [+4] Spy (Opponent: vs. members of the Church, Weapon: his smith's hammer, Maneuver: Disguise)

Other Fortes: Good [+2] Gift of the Unicorn

Artemis was once a Peregrinator until false accusations from a scandal engineered by a former comrade caused him to be dishonored and barred from service in the Church. Since then, he has dedicated his life to exposing the corruption that taints the powerful opportunist known as Virtutoir Hazad the Intricate, in the hopes of removing such a stain on the honor of Vaoz's most holy Church.

Alton Rham Nazzar, aka Gunny, Ship's Master of Guns

As Played By: to be decided

Foible: Greedy

Motivation: Good [+2] Become an Honorable Man

Nationality: Good [+2] Crailese

Past and Swashbuckling Forte: Expert [+4] Ex-Crailese Falcon (Situation: Close Combat, Weapon: Pistol, Opponent: vs. Criminals)

Other Fortes: Expert [+4] Gunner (Situation: Under Heavy Fire), Average [+0] Rogue, Average [+0] Firearms

Disgraced and discharged from the Crailese Falcons for the crimes he did commit, Rham meandered through a series of odd jobs as an enforcer and mercenary before ending up serving under Captain Arturo as the Century Eagle's Master of Guns. While piracy suits him for the moment, he is motivated to become recognized as a man of honor and hopefully live up to those ideals, perhaps despite himself.
